Invisible Girlfriend is an AI companion platform. You pick — or design — a character, then talk to her the way you would talk to anyone: text chat, voice notes, photos she sends you, voice calls, even group chats with up to three companions at once.

Everything is generated by AI. Your companions are not real people, and nothing they say should be taken as advice from one.

Click Sign up, enter your email and a password, and confirm the verification email we send you. Your account is only fully created once that email is verified, so check your spam folder if it has not arrived within a few minutes.

You must be 18 or older to use Invisible Girlfriend. The age confirmation you see on your first visit is not a formality — accounts found to belong to minors are removed.

Check your spam and promotions folders first, and make sure the address you typed is the one you meant. Verification links expire, so if the email is old, request a fresh one from the sign-in screen.

If it still does not arrive, contact us with the exact email address you signed up with and we will verify the account manually.

Use the "Forgot password" link on the sign-in screen. We email you a reset link that is valid for a limited time.

If the link does not open, copy it into your browser directly rather than clicking through your mail client.

Open any companion and start typing. She replies in character, remembers what matters from your earlier conversations, and writes actions in italics when the scene calls for it.

Replies stream in as they are written, so you see them appear word by word rather than waiting for the whole message.

Yes. Each companion keeps her own memory of you — facts you have told her, preferences you have shown, and the emotional beats of your history together. That memory is per companion, so two characters do not share notes.

Your persona is the exception: that is who you are, and it is shared with every companion you talk to.

A persona is who you are in the conversation: your name, your gender, and anything you want every companion to know about you. It is injected into every chat, so you only have to say it once.

You can keep several personas and switch between them — an everyday one and a roleplay one, for instance. Manage them under Profile → Your personas. The persona marked Active is the one companions currently see.

Yes. The phone icon at the top of any chat starts a voice call. She listens through your microphone, replies out loud in her own voice, and you can read captions of what she said.

Calls need microphone permission in your browser. If nothing happens when you speak, check that the site is allowed to use your mic and that no other tab has it open.

From the Chat list, choose New Group and pick up to three companions. They all see the same conversation and reply in turn, in character, reacting to each other as well as to you.

Group chats are a live connection. If your network drops, the room reconnects on its own — you do not need to leave and rejoin.

If a conversation has been quiet for a while, a companion may send a single message to pick it back up. She will only do that when you were the one she was waiting on, and never more than once a day per conversation.

Just ask her in the chat, the way you would ask anyone — "send me a photo of you at the beach". She generates a new picture of herself in that scene, consistent with how she looks everywhere else.

You can also tap the camera icon in the message box to request one directly.

Free accounts get 3 in-chat photos a day. Premium members get 60. The counter under the message box shows how many you have left, and it resets at midnight UTC.

Generating a photo also spends tokens from your balance. If the generation fails, the tokens are returned and the photo does not count against your daily allowance.

The generator lets you create standalone images from a written prompt, rather than asking a companion for one in chat. It is a Premium feature.

Free accounts can still get real photos from their companions inside chat — see the daily allowance above.

Some companions have scene videos. You see a blurred preview and the token price; unlocking one spends those tokens and the video stays in your collection permanently — you never pay for the same video twice.

A companion may also send you a video in chat on her own. The same unlock applies.

Generation occasionally times out when the image servers are busy. When that happens your tokens are refunded automatically and the attempt does not count against your daily allowance — try again in a minute.

If it fails repeatedly, contact us and include roughly when it happened and which companion you were talking to.

Go to Create AI Companion and work through the steps: style, ethnicity, age, hair, eyes, body, occupation, hobbies, personality and voice. At the end you get a review page showing everything you chose, plus a biography written for her.

If the biography is not what you had in mind, use Regenerate to have another written. Free accounts get 2 rewrites a day, Premium 10. Nothing is created until you confirm on that review page.

Yes — open her from My AI and edit her details there. Her appearance stays consistent with the images already generated, so editing her personality or biography will not change how she looks.

Anime companions have their own category alongside Girls and Guys, and you can browse and chat with them exactly the same way.

Tokens are the credit you spend on things that cost us real compute: generated photos, unlocking scene videos, and voice notes. Ordinary text chat does not spend tokens.

Your balance is shown in the top bar and on your profile.

Token top-ups are not open for self-service checkout at the moment. If you have run out, contact support and tell us what you were trying to do — we will sort your account out.

Premium raises your daily photo allowance from 3 to 60, opens the standalone image generator, unlocks VIP characters, and gives you 10 biography rewrites a day instead of 2.

Characters with a gold crown are VIP — they are part of the Premium tier. Their cards are blurred until you upgrade, and opening one shows you what she offers rather than the chat.

Everything else on the site, including creating your own companions, is open to free accounts.

Profile → Current plan has the cancel option. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Cancelling ends access to tokens, chats and characters that came with the plan once that period is over, so export anything you want to keep first.

Your chats are tied to your account and are not shown to other users. They are stored so your companions can remember you, and they are handled under our Privacy Policy.

As with any online service, do not put passwords, financial details or government ID numbers into a chat — with a companion or anywhere else.

Anything sexual involving minors, real people depicted without consent, non-consensual scenarios, and content that breaks the law where you are. These are hard limits, enforced automatically and by review, and they are not negotiable.

Reports involving a real person depicted without consent are handled first, ahead of everything else in the queue.

Profile → Delete Account removes your account along with your chats, characters and remaining balance. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.

Refresh with a hard reload first — Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows and Linux, Cmd+Shift+R on a Mac — which clears a stale cached copy of the page.

If it persists, tell us which page and what you were doing, and we will look at the logs for that time.

Replies stream in, so a short pause is normal on a long message. If nothing arrives at all, reload the chat — the connection may have dropped.

If she has stopped replying across every conversation, contact us; that is usually something on our side.

Calls use your browser microphone, so the site needs microphone permission — check the padlock icon in the address bar. Close any other tab or app holding the mic, then start the call again.

Voice calls work best in Chrome and Edge; some browsers do not support the speech recognition calls rely on.
